זוהר בראשית — דף קכב ע”א
Summary
Rabbi Yosi answers that for the other women it is not written as it is for Sarah: their days and years are not counted and no separate section is devoted to them; this is a secret tied to the rank on which all of a person’s days depend. He then opens with “The profit of the land is for all: the king is served by the field.” The king is the Holy One, blessed be He; the field is the one the Lord has blessed, which joins Him when it is properly arranged. Rabbi Elazar says the king is the Divine Presence, which dwells in a house only when a man marries and fathers children. Another explanation takes the king as the woman who fears the Lord, and the served field as the strange woman; there is a field of blessings and a field of ruin and impurity.
