זוהר בראשית — דף קל ע”א

Summary

The Zohar adds that other holy ones stand farther inside, in the house rather than the court, as it is said, “We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house,” and explains that sitting in the Temple court is permitted only to the kings of the house of David. There is also a place for the supernal pious who enter within, such as Moses, Aaron and his sons; in the world to come, dwellings and lights are distinct, just as deeds are distinct in this world. The text then turns to souls during sleep: in one who has become defiled, the soul clings to impure spirits, which sometimes tell it false things; in one who is worthy, the soul breaks through their ranks, they make way for it, and it rises among the holy ones, where it receives a single true word.
