זוהר בראשית — דף קלא ע”א

Summary

The Zohar continues on the resurrection of the dead: the “dew of lights” is the light with which the tree of life will pour out life; at that time the evil inclination, the serpent, will pass from the world and the moon will no longer be veiled. Bodies that neither succeeded nor bore fruit will be as though they had never been, and the last body, the one that succeeded, will rise; the others will rise if they merit other spirits, and otherwise will be ashes. The dead of the Land of Israel will rise first, while those in other lands will roll beneath the ground to Israel and receive a soul there. Souls will stand in their former form, and the Holy One, blessed be He, will call them by name. At the end, according to the text, one who cleaves to a woman from idol-worshiping peoples becomes defiled, and his son receives an impure spirit.
