זוהר בראשית — דף קסד ע”ב
Summary
The passage continues explaining “My offering, My bread, My fire-offerings” and “you shall take care to offer it to Me in its season,” which alludes to Abraham, Isaac, and the binding “between the evenings,” when fire was included in water and water in fire. Rabbi Yissa says that hearing these words is enough for him. Then, as Laban goes to shear his flock, Rabbi Yose explains that the teraphim are idolatry and that Laban was a master of sorcery; Rabbi Yehuda says they were made at set hours. Rachel sat on them out of fear, and Laban delayed three days before pursuing Jacob; Rachel was punished by not raising Benjamin. Rabbi Yitzhak notes that Jacob swore by the fear of his father Isaac.
