When a person comes to purify himself, he is assisted and a supernal holiness is added to him. When he comes to defile himself, the way is opened and he is helped from below. The righteous one who walks in the holy path — the Holy One blessed be He guides him on it. Whoever gazes upon the holy path gazes upon the Shekhinah. All blessings above and below depend on the Temple above and below.
