Sun and shield is the Lord God — sun, by which He illuminates all the world. Shield — protection and guard. Whoever has the reality of faith in his heart is protected from all afflictions. He withholds no good from those who walk in integrity — these are the righteous of the world, for whom the sun never fails. As the sun rises and sets, so the righteous ascend to the supernal worlds.
