זוהר שמות — דף ח ע”א

The commandment to send away the mother bird from her nest is based on the secrets of Torah. The mother on the nest symbolizes the Knesset Israel, and the chicks and eggs represent Israel in exile. Sending away the mother hints at elevating the Shekhina upward, as she will ascend to her place in the future. The secret of the nest is tied to Israel's redemption: as a man sends the mother, the Holy One blessed be He will send the Shekhina from exile to Jerusalem. The gate of the nest opens on the day the Messiah enters the world.
