The four primordial ones are the secret of faith and are fathers of all the worlds. The four elements — fire, wind, water, earth — are the secret of the supernal Chariot. Each element symbolizes a sefirah: fire for Judgment, water for Kindness, wind for Mercy, earth for Kingdom. From the tribes of Judah, Joseph, Levi, and Reuben the divine chariots emerged.
