Egypt’s rivers nurtured masters of sorcery in ten degrees. The Holy One confounded Egypt’s channels, nullifying the wisdom of the magicians. The Arov (mixed beasts) was a confusion of their types of wisdom so that they could no longer connect to their magic. Every creature born on earth depends on a celestial force that seeded it. Seven firmaments and seven earths were created in parallel, and all the mighty acts performed by the Holy One in Egypt were done by one hand alone, to destroy the wisdom of Egypt from above and below.
