The phrase vatetiseni bo means that Satan believed he had incited the Holy One, standing firm in his own conviction. Satan is an old foolish king who can mislead humans because he is entrusted with human deeds. In individual judgment Satan can accuse, but in world judgment the Holy One descends to see for Himself. On Rosh Hashana both sides stand - life and death. Whoever comes with repentance and good deeds is inscribed for life. Job became known above and was marked alone, which is why the accuser attached himself to him.
