זוהר שמות — דף לח ע”א
Summary
The Egyptians relied on their crowns to bind Israel in eternal servitude, but the Holy One shattered all the crowns and untied the bonds. The merit of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob enabled the release of the three knots of faith. The memory of the Exodus is maintained in all the festivals and times, for it is the foundation of the Torah. The main redemption occurred at night, and by day Israel departed openly before all Egypt — a publicizing of the miracle unprecedented since creation.
