Bein ha-arbayim is the time of Abraham's evening, when he saw the Shekhinah in the vision of Genesis. The Passover offering came to break Egypt's powers and display God's rod over them. Chametz is the evil inclination that spreads in a person's heart, and the holy person is commanded to burn it from his home for seven days. The seven days of Passover are the days of completion of holiness, when Israel moves from the dominion of the klipa to freedom in holiness.
