'My strength and song is Yah' — this is the holy soul that the Holy One placed within man. The service of God is love: whoever loves Him with all his heart is called beloved by God. The Holy One is called friend and brother, and in times of distress He is aroused to avenge Israel. At the sea all Israel saw what even the prophet Ezekiel had not seen, and even fetuses in their mothers' wombs saw and praised, saying: 'This is my God and I will glorify Him'. When the Shekhinah returns to her place, the Holy King will return to Zion.
