Parasha Yitro, folio 72b — The Zohar explains the importance of standing in prayer, as a servant must stand before the King and the Matronita. The Matronita rises for those standing during the prayer blessings, and Israel who left Egypt as servants was transformed by Moses into sons. The prophets reached prophecy through various sensory organs according to their spiritual level. Rabbi Shimon concludes this teaching by blessing the companions with promises of exalted places.
