Parasha Yitro, folio 77a — The Zohar addresses the secret of ears and eyes as signs of the soul in kabbalistic physiognomy. The prophets reached prophecy through different organs: some through the ear, others through the eye. Israel left Egypt as servants and Moses called them sons by the power of the holy spirit.
