This folio describes the vision experienced by the children of Israel at the moment of the giving of the Torah: from the light of those divine voices, they saw all hidden treasures and all mysteries. The divine word descended from above to below, was engraved in the four winds of the world, surrounded Israel, and their souls were renewed. The Ten Commandments were engraved in the stone tablets. The great merit of Israel is described through the three generations that preceded the giving of the Torah, through whose merit the Torah was given to Israel rather than to other nations.
