זוהר שמות — דף פד ע”א

Summary

This folio discusses the fifty mentions of the Exodus from Egypt in the Torah, corresponding to the fifty gates of the Jubilee (Yovel). The Holy One, Blessed be He, adorns Himself with the supernal Jubilee, and from there Israel went out of Egypt. The mystery of the Ten Commandments and the Tablets engraved by the stylus of the sacred tree is revealed. The Torah was given under the aspect of the Jubilee: fifty days to Sinai, fifty gates of Understanding, and eighty times the Shema was heard in Egypt.
