זוהר שמות — דף פח ע”א

Summary

Rabbi Elazar and Rabbi Shimon discuss the prohibition against mentioning the holy Name in vain. The Name appears in Torah only after other words, never in an empty context. One who pronounces it in vain will be punished in the afterlife. The discussion turns to Shabbat: all blessings depend on the seventh day which blesses all days of the week. A person must set his table on Friday and eat three Shabbat meals corresponding to Atik Kadich, Zeir Anpin and the Field of Apples. Rabbi Abba adds that on this day the head of Zeir Anpin is filled with dew from Atik Kadich.
