This section deals with the fate of souls handed over to Lilith, the impure maidservant, when placed in her power. The Zohar explains the mystery of souls oppressed in the world's scales and their redemption by the Holy One blessed be He. The redeemed soul is elevated to the supernal yeshiva of the Holy One in the heights, and is not given over to a foreign people but to Israel alone. Over her, the Holy One spreads the garment of His glory under the name Eloha, and by virtue of this she is not delivered to a foreign people.
