This section deals with the soul that has merited correction and returned to her father's house: she eats from her father's bread but cannot behold the delight of the fully accomplished righteous, because she had been a stranger there. That is why she does not eat of the Kodesh but only of the Terumah, and only at night, as it is said: « when the sun sets she shall be pure and eat afterward ». The parashah of Mishpatim deals deeply with the judgments of holiness, and our explanation here touches on the purification of the soul-mysteries of rectification.
