The elder wishes to continue the explanation and asks what happens to that spirit left in the vessel when another came and introduced a different spirit. Rabbi Shimon answers him and praises the elder's tears. The Zohar notes that the acts of the Holy One blessed be He are numerous and supernal, and who can articulate them? The subject under discussion is what happens to that first spirit left in the vessel, and how the Holy One orders the world through His wisdom.
