זוהר שמות — דף קב ע”ב
Summary
The Zohar describes the cycles of the spirit-soul and its wandering in the world: the spirit roams the world and visits the grave, and when spirits visit the graves it joins the spirit dwelling there and departs. On entering its place it strips itself off and is kept in the halls of the Garden of Eden or outside, according to each one's paths. When spirits visit the world, the dead have recourse to the living through another spirit that clothes itself in this spirit, and the Holy One blessed be He keeps the complete account.
