At midnight, the north wind awakens and strikes the dwellings of evil spirits, breaking the Other Side, while the Holy One blessed be He enters the Garden of Eden to delight with the righteous. At dawn, the primordial light arrives, nourishing upper and lower worlds and watering the garden. One who wishes to travel should rise at dawn and contemplate toward the east the flashing letters of the forty-two-letter Name in the sky. In the morning, three birds praise the Creator with verses from Psalm 113, and a herald calls the supernal holy ones to offer their morning praise.
