Parasha Teruma — Folio 138a: The Zohar expounds on the psalm Sing to the Lord a new song connecting it to the song of the cows that carried the Ark. The word new refers to the renewal of the moon as it is illuminated by the sun. The celestial creatures bearing the Throne sing this praise as they ascend to Beth Shemesh. All Shabbat praises were instituted to honor the unique people. The psalm of the Shabbat day was recited by Adam when he was expelled from the Garden of Eden.
