זוהר שמות — דף קסז ע”א

In the time of Israel exile among the nations, the voice of Torah is weakened and the waters dry up in their desolation. But the righteous of each generation who keep the covenant maintain the divine flow. By their merit the world is sustained, as it is said of the righteous that he is the foundation of the world. The tears of widows and orphans rise before the Holy One, blessed be He, and He does not cancel them. Whoever acts for the sake of the Heavenly Name merits a divine flow of blessing and advances along the path of the righteous.
