Parasha Vayakhel — folio 200b. Each day a herald proclaims: all inhabitants of the world, it rests with you — take from among yourselves an offering to God. Every generous-hearted person — one whose will is to ascend and attach himself to the secret of faith — will bring the Shekhinah to dwell with him. The Zohar explains that one who wishes to drive the Shekhinah away from his home can do so through negligence, but one who strives to bind himself to God will have countless blessings flow upon him.
