זוהר שמות — דף רב ע”א

Summary

Parasha Vayakhel — folio 202a. The Zohar describes the first firmament and the appointed angel who wishes to serve by day but waits until the moon’s light rises. When daylight breaks, all the appointed ones go forth to fulfill their roles in supernal order. The second firmament is described with its own hosts and appointed angels. There is an appointed one named Sandalfon who manages all of Israel’s prayers and presents them before the King. The Zohar emphasizes the importance of heartfelt intention in prayer.
