זוהר שמות — דף רג ע”ב

Summary

Parasha Vayakhel — folio 203b. The Zohar explains the difference between one cloud and another: God’s cloud is a cloud of light and blessing that protected Israel in the desert, while a cloud of darkness is one that darkens the world. The great fire, the great cloud, and the stormy wind — these are the three elements of the Chariot that Ezekiel beheld. Each of them is the secret of one of the upper degrees of the Other Side. The Zohar explains how God hides His glory within a cloud so as to illuminate the world.
