Parasha Vayakhel — folio 204a. A herald announces: prepare yourselves, chariots, prepare yourselves, camps, before your Master. A wind goes forth from the south side and spreads over the armies of the right side, which array themselves and prepare for union. The Zohar describes the supernal gathering before Shabbat: all the camps rise and present themselves before the King. Fire, wind, and water — the three forces — enter into the order of Shabbat’s creation. The holiness of Shabbat spreads over all the firmaments and all the worlds.
