זוהר שמות — דף ריט ע”א

Summary

When the smoke of the ketoret rose in a pillar, the priest saw the letters of the holy Name spread through the air and ascend. Holy chariots surrounded it from all sides, atoning for the evil inclination and idolatry. The altar of the ketoret is called mizbeach because it binds the evil side. Wherever the act of ketoret is recited with intention, death has no power and the nations cannot rule. The ketoret sustains both the upper and lower worlds.
