זוהר שמות — דף רכג ע”ב

Summary

Judah began from the left and inclined to the right, and Betzalel, from his side, built the Tabernacle and was established within it. Rabbi Shimon says that 'Betzalel' means 'in the shadow of God', and his name reflects his wisdom. The verse 'like an apple tree among the forest trees' expresses that the Knesset Israel dwells in God's shadow through the Tabernacle. Betzalel son of Uri (light of the sun, the right) son of Hur (the left): gold permeates all the holy work because wholeness exists only in the union of mercy and judgment.
