זוהר ויקרא — דף ו ע”ב

The Zohar teaches that all nations have drawn their power only through Israel. When Israel is in exile, they immediately strengthen themselves. The Zohar emphasizes that it is through Israel that the nations are humbled, and that the secret of Israel's exile in Egypt is that the nations had founded themselves upon them to dominate them. The Zohar emphasizes that the Holy Blessed One protects Israel within exile.
