Parashat Beshalah opens with Rabbi Shimon's discourse on the prayer of Habakkuk the prophet. Elisha merited in this world what no other prophet had merited, except Moses. The Shunammite woman was great in her deeds and hospitality. She knew Elisha was a holy man of God because the sheets of his bed emitted the fragrance of the Garden of Eden. The bed, table, chair and lamp she prepared for Elisha are the tikun of Knesset Israel.
