Parashah Beshalah. The righteous are destined to eat from the manna in the World to Come, in an infinitely superior form. Shabbat is a day when one adorned with a holy crown must avoid all profane speech. There are fifty gates of Binah from which wisdom emanates, and opposite them fifty gates of impurity on the Other Side. At the Exodus, the Holy One chose Israel and removed them from the dominion of the Other Side. The manna fell double on Friday to sanctify Shabbat, the day of supreme rest.
