זוהר שמות — דף קפג ע”ב

Summary

At Passover, Israel departed from bread called chametz and merited the supernal bread — matzah. Chametz is the secret of the other side, called shatnez, and it is forbidden to eat on Passover. Matzah is the bread of affliction above, the bread of truth, whose lip of truth shall be established forever. When Israel left the domain of the other side, they merited receiving the domain of holiness. At the moment of Redemption, the holy kingdom was elevated over all and the Moon shone.
