זוהר שמות — דף קצט ע”ב
Summary
Parasha Vayakhel — folio 199b. The Zohar continues the Jonah parable: when a person departs this world, it is proclaimed of the righteous person that he will come in peace and rest in his place. At the moment of death, the soul reflects on its deeds in this world, where it came from and where it is going. The body returns to the dust from which it came, and the soul ascends, passing through all the hidden heavens. The proclamation honoring the righteous is a reward for those who kept the faith.
