The tabernacle was built through Wisdom, Understanding, and Knowledge, mirroring the three pillars by which the world was created. Rabbi Shimon opens with Bereshit bara Elohim and reveals that the Holy One, blessed be He, created this world as an image of the supernal world. The Holy One gazed into the Torah and created the world, then gazed into the Holy Name and sustained it. He showed Moses the pattern of heavenly forms so that he could build the tabernacle as a faithful reflection of the world above.
