This is a secret for the sons of faith. All the transgressions and sins of one who bound the bond of Yihoud and confessed them rest upon the other side. If one does not confess, the soul cannot ascend. Confession is the bond of Yihoud, and through confessing sins the impure bond is detached from the soul. The other side is stripped of its portion and inheritance from the sins and the soul ascends free.
