זוהר ויקרא — דף ד ע”א

The Zohar comments on the verse 'He made the basin of bronze' — the basin was made from the mirrors of righteous women who used them in Egypt to entice their husbands and bear children during slavery. It is the merit of these righteous women that saved Israel from Egypt. The Zohar also develops the secrets of impurity and purity, and the laws of the Sotah (woman suspected of infidelity).
