זוהר ויקרא — דף ה ע”ב

Rabbi Abba opens with the verse: 'Come with me from Lebanon, O bride, come from Lebanon.' The Shekhinah is called 'bride' and the Holy Blessed One calls her to return from exile. Lebanon alludes to the Temple which whitened (Malbin) Israel's sins. The Zohar emphasizes that holy souls ascend through the Garden of Eden to return to their source, and that Jerusalem above mirrors Jerusalem below.
