זוהר בראשית — דף קיז ע”א
Summary
The Zohar continues with the verse “I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time”: Knesset Yisrael will rise from the dust. Rabbi Yehuda explains, through the secret of the letters of the Name, that in exile the “he” was separated from the “vav” (“I was mute”), and that she lies in the dust for one day of the “he,” the fifth millennium; when the sixth millennium comes, the “vav” will raise the “he.” According to the text, in the six hundredth year of the sixth millennium the gates of wisdom will open and the world will be set right to enter the seventh, as in the six hundredth year of Noah. The rainbow will appear in luminous colors, a remembrance of the eternal covenant, which is Knesset Yisrael. Rabbi Yose agrees that no other calculations or deadlines should be stirred up.
