זוהר שמות — דף טו ע”ב

Summary

Eighteen mountains of pure balsam exist in the upper worlds, where the souls of the righteous enter. Forty-nine fragrances rise each day to that place called Eden, corresponding to the forty-nine pure and impure faces through which the Torah was given. The one clothed with the Hoshen (breastplate) sits on a holy and glorious throne, and all enter and leave by his word. The headplate of the high priest blazes with six hundred and twenty holy letters visible in all worlds. Forty-nine holy supernal days stand and receive permission from the luminous stones engraved on the breastplate.
