No creature can be compared to the Creator. Before creating any image in the world, He existed alone without form or likeness. It is forbidden to create a form or likeness of the Creator, not even through the letter heh or the letter yod. When the Blessed One descends to reign over creatures, He appears to each one according to their vision, which is prophetic similitude. He is called by the names El, Elohim, Shaddai, Tzvaot, Ehyeh so that He may be known through each of His attributes.
