Parasha Yitro, folio 70b — This folio concludes the kabbalistic physiognomy teaching transmitted by Rabbi Shimon. The souls who left Egypt were still in the state of servants until Moses called them sons. The section presents the various organs through which the prophets reached prophecy: head, ears, eyes, nose, face, hands and feet. Rabbi Shimon blesses the companions who merited hearing the secrets of Torah from his mouth, promising them lofty places in the World to Come.
