זוהר שמות — דף צח ע”ב

Summary

The Zohar comments on the Psalms verses describing the creation of the world: « wrapped in light as with a garment » refers to the light of the first day; « stretching out the heavens » is the inclusion of the left side within the right. « Setting his upper chambers on the waters » corresponds to the Tree of Life that emerges from Eden with joy, in which the two willow branches linking right and left are rooted. The Zohar treats the mysteries of creation and the cosmological structure of the supernal Tree and the sefirot of Hesed and Gevurah.
