Wise scholars are inscribed in the Throne, the angels, the stars, and the divine attributes. Torah and commandment form the unified tree of male and female. The wicked lack the sacred marks and resemble reptiles. The am haaretz is a reptile without share in the marks of purity. Verbal confession combined with the unification of Shema is the complete repentance before death. Confession by mouth is what is called repentance by hand.
