Folio 126a treats the blood covenant that Moses made with Israel and Moses's ascent. The Shekhinah told Moses: “Ascend above, and I and Israel will be united together in wholeness through you.” Moses divided the blood in two — half sprinkled on the people and half on the altar, saying: “This is the blood of the covenant that the Lord made with you.” The word “agganot” written without a vav references the Song of Songs and Moses's ascent onto the mountain of God.
