The spirit of Wisdom is the palm of the Tabernacle, and the heavens measured by a span are the gates that open in all directions. Isaac emerged from Hesed, Jacob emerged in mercy from harsh judgment, and thus all is one suspended from One. All the menorot shine from One and are suspended from One; whoever separates them is as if cut off from the life of the world. The two cherubim in the Tabernacle: when peace reigns their faces are turned to each other, and when there is no peace the king rides on one cherub alone.
