Assyria cast Israel to the ends of the earth and took their land. The Egyptians who did good to Israel were severely judged because they ultimately enslaved them. Assyria, Edom and the other nations that oppressed Israel without Egypt's justification will receive an even harsher judgment. Israel is judged together with their princes, and the Holy One protects them even in exile. The Egyptians merit some credit because they received the Knesset Israel of seventy souls into their territory.
